Otolaryngologist

Dr. Michael Noller is a dedicated and highly trained otolaryngologist at Southern Indiana ENT, bringing extensive expertise from his time as Chief Resident at the prestigious National Capital Consortium Otolaryngology Residency Program. His comprehensive training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, combined with his military service as a Major in the United States Air Force, has equipped him with unique insights into both civilian and military healthcare.

Dr. Noller earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD, where he graduated with honors and received the Uniformed Services University’s Vice Admiral James A. Zimble Valedictorian Award. He also earned distinction as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Prior to medical school, Dr. Noller completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Denver, with a minor in Japanese.

As a scholar, Dr. Noller has contributed to several important research publications, particularly in areas such as obstructive sleep apnea, ear, nose, and throat disorders, and military-specific healthcare challenges. His work has been featured in top medical journals, including Mil Med, Laryngoscope, and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has co-authored numerous systematic reviews and meta-analyses on innovative treatment options, from cochlear implants to mandibular advancement for sleep apnea, advancing the field of otolaryngology.

Dr. Noller’s commitment to excellence in patient care is reflected in his leadership, mentorship, and his role as a mentor for the next generation of otolaryngologists. He was awarded the 2023 Joint Service Commendation Medal for his exemplary leadership. Dr. Noller is licensed to practice medicine in Indiana, Maryland, and West Virginia and is deeply committed to providing high-quality, personalized care to his patients.
